Buongiorno!

Buongiorno  and Welcome to Firenze!!

This is just a building that I took a photo of the first day I was here. It looks pretty much like all the buildings in Florence. They are actually very cool looking.

 This is the first thing I ate in Florence. A panini and some water from one of the many, many shops that sell this kind of food.

 This is actually the Duomo and the baptistry. Very famous and very historic but I didn't know that when I took the photo. I was in a daze.

 Another shot of it. In the morning there aren't any tourists but later on, the place is crawling with them.

 Just one of the streets that I walk on all the time.

 This is the view from my bedroom window. It is beautiful and every morning I am awakened by church bells.

 My bathroom that I share with a housemate. There are two bathrooms in our apartment.

 This is our living/dining room. It has a little couch, a TV and a table for four.

 Our kitchen which has a tiny fridge, not many cabinets, a cooktop, no oven and a washing machine.

 This is my room or roomette from the doorway. That is my desk and the closet is right in front where that curtain is hanging.

 Go right around that corner to the left and this is my bed. See my monkey?  He made the trip with me.

 And this is the view from outside my bedroom door looking at the front door through the kitchen. If you turn left before the fridge you will go into the other bedroom the other 2 roommates share.

I still don't have a dresser in my room. They were supposed to bring me one last week so some of my stuff is still on the floor.
