Buon giorno or should I say Buona sera!

I got into Florence yesterday about 1:00 in the afternoon after a crazy wild goose chase because they found a bomb in our terminal in Amsterdam. They sent us to probably 3 different places before they put us in a bus and drove us to our plane.  We were still late getting in and were hoping that our people from school who were going to pick us up knew about it. They did and were standing waiting for us with signs so we'd know who they were.  They put us in cabs and sent us to our apartments and thankfully mine has an elevator because my bags were so heavy.  We got our rooms, put our stuff down and tried to relax but instead we went looking around.  I took a few photos so far and will finish this tomorrow--I'm tired now.
